Refund & Replacement Policy

Plain English: All digital content purchases are final. No cash refunds. If you’re unhappy with a subject you bought, we’ll give you one free replacement — and you keep the original. That’s more than anyone else offers on a $5–$25 purchase.

1. No Cash Refunds on Digital Content

All purchases of digital subjects on RoboBuddy13 are final and non-refundable. Once a subject is delivered to your account, we cannot reverse the transaction or issue a monetary refund.

This is consistent with industry-standard digital content policies, including those of Apple Books, Google Play, Amazon Kindle, Udemy, and Coursera.

Why no refunds? Every subject on RoboBuddy13 gives you Chapter 1 completely free — no purchase required. You can read the first chapter of any subject at any level before you spend a single dollar. This is your preview. If you chose to buy after reading the preview, the purchase is final.

2. Free Replacement Policy

If you are unsatisfied with a purchased subject, you may request one (1) free replacement subject per account, subject to the following terms:

  • The replacement subject will be at the same reading level as the original purchase.
  • You keep your original subject — it is not revoked.
  • The replacement is sourced from our existing library (709 subjects across 5 levels).
  • The replacement costs you $0.00. No additional charges.
  • This is a one-time courtesy per account, not per purchase.

Example: You bought the Chemistry Standard Bundle for $25 and didn’t enjoy it. You request a replacement and choose Physics (Standard Bundle). You now have both Chemistry L1–L3 and Physics L1–L3 — and your replacement allowance is used.

3. What Happens After Your Free Replacement

Once your one-time free replacement has been used, any further refund or replacement requests will be denied and may result in a temporary account suspension.

4. Account Suspensions

Repeated refund requests beyond your free replacement allowance will trigger an automatic 3-day (72-hour) account suspension. During a suspension:

  • All platform access is blocked — including free content and Chapter 1 previews.
  • Your purchased subjects are not deleted or revoked. They remain on your account.
  • After the suspension expires, full access is automatically restored. No action needed.
  • If you request another refund after a suspension expires, a new 3-day suspension will be applied.

We do not permanently ban accounts through the automated refund policy. Suspensions are temporary cooling-off periods. However, patterns of abuse may be flagged for manual review.

5. Delivery Timeline

Personalized (custom-generated) books are delivered to your RoboBuddy13 Viewer & Communicator App within 2 weeks of your order date.

  • You will receive a notification when your book set is ready.
  • If there is an unexpected delay, we will notify you with an updated timeline.

Rush delivery options may be introduced in a future update.

6. Subject Pricing

Digital subjects are sold as bundles, not individual levels:

The Standard Bundle gives you access to all three lower reading levels of a subject. The Advanced Bundle gives you access to Levels 4 and 5, plus Levels 1–3.

7. Stripe & Payment Disputes

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or credit card company:

  • We will provide Stripe with evidence of the transaction, including your account activity, the free Chapter 1 preview availability, and your acceptance of these terms at time of purchase.
  • Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination.

8. How to Request a Replacement

  1. Navigate to your account settings or contact us at help@robobuddy13.com or call 1-855-713-2300.
  2. Identify the subject you are unhappy with.
  3. If this is your first request, you will be prompted to choose a replacement subject at the same level.
  4. The replacement is applied instantly. No wait time.

9. Subscription Cancellations

Subscription cancellations (Explorer, Creator, Premium, Cosmic Student) are handled separately from subject refunds:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • No prorated refunds are issued for partial months.
  • Subjects purchased individually remain accessible even after subscription cancellation.
